The album is comprised of a beautiful selection of sacred Christmas hymns and brings a peaceful, lyrical approach to some of these well-known carols. The music incorporates both Mike's improvising ability (God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen, What Child is This?) and his classical compositional ingenuity (I Wonder as I Wander, Thou Who Wast Rich) to create a wonderful musical tapestry.
